Our standard cleaning service includes all of the basic tasks required to get your home in order. You can communicate any specific tasks or jobs that you want done to your housekeeper through the Jarvis App. Simply login to your Jarvis account, click on ‘My To-Do list’ followed by ‘Add New Item’.
Many of our housekeepers can also help you with miscellaneous tasks such ironing, dog walking, washing etc. Please always remember to inform us if you require these tasks to be done, so that we can arrange you a suitable housekeeper.
Depending on the size and state of your home, the clean can take anywhere from two to six hours. Our team can provide you with guidelines based on your requirements, however, you can ultimately choose the duration of the service.
For example, if you have a larger home but you only want us to frequently clean a smaller area, like your entertaining areas, we could accommodate a shorter repeat clean.
If you and your housekeeper agree that extra time is needed for any particular visit, you can always ask them to extend their stay if their schedule permits. Please let us know of any changes and we will make any necessary adjustments on your account.

If you have booked a regular service with us, you can expect to have the same housekeeper for each visit. If for some reason your regular housekeeper is no longer available, we will always let you know in advance, and we will organise the best possible replacement. Of course, if ever you would like to trial a new housekeeper, you can let us know via message and we will arrange this for you.
If you book an ongoing plan (weekly, fortnightly or monthly), a basic cleaning service will cost you $39 per hour. The hourly rate for one-off visits is $50 per hour.
For visits that require Furniture Assembly, the hourly rate is $40 per hour.
For visits that require an end of lease clean, the hourly rate is $50 per hour.
When you book your cleaning service, you have the option of booking in a regular schedule, such as weekly, monthly or fortnightly service. A regular cleaning service will allow us to ensure that you are assigned the same housekeeper each time. You are free to cancel and amend your plan whenever you like. We just ask that you always provide us with at least 48 hours notice so that we can organise alternative jobs for your housekeeper.
If you aren’t interested in a regular service, you can still of course book a one-off clean!
They certainly can! Our housekeepers can provide basic sprays and wipes, a standard vacuum cleaner, a mop and disinfectant products for a small additional surcharge. You just need to let us know what equipment specifically you would like them to bring and we can arrange this for you.
If you would prefer that your housekeepers use the equipment that you have at home, we can accommodate this as well, and for hygiene reasons this is often our preference.
If you have a pet at home, please advise our team when they get in touch to confirm your booking. We will make sure that the housekeeper we arrange for you is comfortable working with pets.
The disinfectant service entails a more in-depth clean, and is suitable for killing and removing a high percentage of stubborn germs. Jarvis housekeepers can provide the disinfectant product without extra charge and disinfect surfaces in line with your requirements.
If you would prefer that the housekeeper uses your own disinfectant products, we can also accommodate this.
Unfortunately, we do not provides these services as they are outside our official scope.
Jarvis housekeeper can use their allocated time to help you do the laundry in-house. As a cycle usually takes longer than an hour, if you do not have enough hours booked, we can help with a part of that process (whether it’s starting the cycle or hanging up the clothes to dry once the washing is done).
