What can Jarvis do?

Jarvis is a subscription service designed to make your life easier. Each week or fortnight, depending on your preference, the same Jarvis housekeeper will visit your home to clean and tidy exactly the way you like it done. We can also cater to services on a one-off basis, including for spring cleans, steam cleans or end-of-lease cleans.

All of this, including setting tasks and automatically handling payments, is coordinated seamlessly through our client portal.

How does pricing work?

We charge a flat $44 per hour (or $54 per hour for one-off bookings) for as many hours as you require, and we'll do as much as we can in the time you book. However for a more thorough clean we typically recommend between 2-4 hours per visit. If you need us to visit more than once per week, or on a fortnightly basis, we can also organise this.

Payments are all handled automatically through our app - you will be charged at the end of each week, and emailed a receipt.

Who is your housekeeper?

Your Jarvis is your own personal housekeeper. The same Jarvis will visit you each week or each fortnight, depending on your preference - meaning the more you use our service, the better we’ll get as we learn to really understand and your needs and your preferences.

The relationship between our Jarvis housekeepers and clients is at the heart of our business, and we go to great lengths to make sure we send you exactly the right person. Before your subscription starts, we'll schedule an introductory visit with your Jarvis - this will be a chance for you to find out more about our service and your Jarvis, as well as to let them know exactly how you want things to be done. If you're happy, that same person will then be your housekeeper on an ongoing basis!

Are you able to disinfect my home?

Yes! Your cleaner will supply disinfectant, gloves and a face mask to ensure that your home is thoroughly disinfected in a hygienic and safe manner. In accordance with CDC guidelines, we will focus particularly on high-touch areas, including doorknobs, light switches and other surfaces.

How can I trust you in my home?

We make a huge effort to make sure we match you with the exact right person. Our Jarvis housekeepers are trusted members of your local community who have been fully police-checked and vetted. They all have at least 2 years' experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning, hotel keeping or another related area, and are required to maintain a 4.2 star average quality rating across all their clients.

With that said, if you aren't 100% happy with your Jarvis, we're happy to organise a new person to take over at any stage. And if something does goes wrong, we’re fully insured for up to $10 million – so you can have the peace of mind to trust us in your home.

I'm just looking for a cleaner

Although your Jarvis can handle a whole range of tasks, many of our clients do use our service primarily as a regular cleaning service. Our housekeepers all have experience in at least one of these areas: residential cleaning, hotel room attending or housekeeping.

Which areas do you operate in?

We currently operate in metro areas in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart and the Gold Coast. As a general rule, we can operate as far out as 40km from the Central Business District.
